Reactoonz - The fun and successful game from Play´n Go gets a sequel
Not all sequels are created equal, most of them are not at all what the first one was. Luckily this is not true with Reactoonz from Play'n Go. In the first game, we met the Reactoonz, an alien species, arranged in a large field of 7x7. Any cluster of 5 or more generates a win. In the original game, you could build up a quantum feature that, if you built it up enough, would generate a Gargantoon. Each quantum feature would bring you different advantages and the Gargantoon is like a giant wild that's placed on the grid. First-round he is 3x3, in the second he is split into two 2x2 and in the third round, he is split into nine different 1x1 wilds.
In the new Reactoonz 2, you can not only fill up the quantumeter, but also the fluctometer that serves as a form of wild. The Fluctometer chooses a one-eyed Reactoonz at random, if there's a match of those Reactoonz, you get a wild. These wilds help fuel the quantumeter. If the quantometer is full, a Gargantoon is released, similar to the first game. If it's only filled to level 1 or 2, you'll get an Energoon instead, which is a small wild. At level 2, it's one 2x2 wild, at level 1 you get four 1x1 wilds. Electric wilds can also clear the entire field, giving you a big win.
"It's not difficult to see why this game got a sequel, there are cute aliens and an amazing bonus feature that paves the way for many wins!"
They're cute, they're colorful and they're fun. Here's what we know about the little aliens in Reactoonz 2.
- One-eyed Reactoonz have the lowest-paying wins, with the yellow one being the lowest. But if a cluster matches the fluctometer, you get a wild.
- Two-eyed Reactoonz pays the most, with the pink being the best.
- Energoon is released when the quantumeter is at a level 1-2. It's a distant cousin to the Reactoonz and featured in another of Play'n Go's slots.
- Gargantoon is the biggest wild and released when the quantumeter is at level 3 or 4 (the overcharged level).
- Uncharged wilds are not a Reactoon but can show up on the grid and once a match is made next to it, it is charged up and work like a wild.
The success with Reactoonz 1
It's not difficult to see why this game got a sequel, there are cute aliens and an amazing bonus feature that paves the way for many wins. Reactoonz 1 got a lot of attention when it was released in late 2017 and quickly became a favorite for many players. As the years passed, Play'N Go decided that it was time to give the successful game a little upgrade and get new players that weren't here for the original game launch a chance to meet the cute Reactoonz and try out a win for themselves.
Popular all over the world
Play'N Go says that Reactoonz is one of the most loved gridslots in the world and is particularly liked in Germany, the UK and Japan. This new slot is not expected to perform at any lower level and with the basic functions of the original game, but with new and exciting features, they expect that Reactoonz 2 will be just as successful, if not even more. And we can certainly see why! It's a ton of fun to play.
